1. Who we are (controller)

The controller of personal data for Partnerizer is Adaptation.Works (Dariusz Klupi), operating the service at partnerizer.com.

Contact for privacy requests: help@adaptacja.works. Website: adaptacja.works.

2. What this service does with data

Partnerizer is a developmental tool for emotional awareness and needs literacy. There are no user accounts and no server-side database of check-in content in the current version.

  • Emotional check-in free text (reflections, strategies, shadow-work answers) stays in your browser memory for the visit only. It is not uploaded or stored by our servers when you use the live check-in flow.
  • Language preference (`en` / `pl`) is stored in a first-party cookie so the interface can open in your chosen language.
  • Analytics(optional, only with your consent): page/performance telemetry via Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights, plus minimal first-party usage events (UI element name, click/display type, timestamp). Local usage counters may be stored in your browser's localStorage.
  • Hosting logs: our host (Vercel) processes technical request data (e.g. IP address, user agent, URL) as part of providing the website securely.

3. Legal bases (GDPR Art. 6)

  • Language cookie — necessary to provide the bilingual service as requested (Art. 6(1)(b) / strictly necessary for the service you ask for).
  • Analytics & usage telemetry — only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can refuse or withdraw at any time via Cookie preferences.
  • Hosting / security logs — legitimate interests in operating a secure, reliable website (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Check-in content in your browser — processed locally on your device at your initiative; we do not store it on our servers in the current MVP.

Free-text reflections may include sensitive personal content. We design the product so that content remains on your device. Do not paste highly confidential third-party data if you later use features that send text to a server.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Details are in our Cookie Policy. Non-essential analytics run only after you opt in.

5. Recipients and processors

We use Vercel Inc. to host the application, serve the site, run serverless functions, and (if you consent) provide Analytics and Speed Insights. Vercel acts as a processor under its terms and Data Processing Addendum.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use advertising networks or marketing pixels in the current product.

6. International transfers

Application compute is configured for the European Union(Vercel region Frankfurt / `fra1`). Depending on Vercel's infrastructure and subprocessors, some operational or analytics data may still be processed outside the EEA. Where transfers occur, they rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses, as described in Vercel's documentation and DPA.

7. Retention

  • Language preference cookie: up to 1 year (or until you clear cookies).
  • Consent cookie: up to 1 year (or until you change preferences).
  • Check-in content: only for the browser session / visit (not saved to our servers).
  • First-party analytics events (if consented): written to platform function logs; we aim to retain them no longer than needed for product improvement (typically ≤ 90 days of platform log retention).
  • Local usage counters (if consented): until you clear site data or use the reset control on the internal usage page.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, or port personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing). You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Poland: UODO — uodo.gov.pl).

Because we do not keep check-in journals on our servers, most content is under your control in the browser (close the tab / start over / clear site data). For questions about logs or analytics, email help@adaptacja.works. We will respond within one month where required.

9. Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.

10. Children

Partnerizer is aimed at adults in professional and organizational contexts. It is not directed at children under 16.

11. Changes

We may update this policy when the product or processors change. Material changes to analytics consent may reset the consent banner (new consent version). The “Last updated” date at the top will change accordingly.

This page describes our current practices in plain language. It is not legal advice.
