1. Who we are (controller)
The controller of personal data for Partnerizer is Adaptation.Works (Dariusz Klupi), operating the service at partnerizer.com.
Contact for privacy requests: help@adaptacja.works. Website: adaptacja.works.
2. What this service does with data
Partnerizer is a developmental tool for emotional awareness and needs literacy. There are no user accounts and no permanent server-side archive of check-in free text in the current version.
- Emotional check-in free text (reflections, strategies, shadow-work answers) stays in your browser memory for the visit only. It is not uploaded or stored by our servers when you use the live check-in flow.
- Team heat-map live sessions (when you create or join a session): a short-lived session code, opaque participant ids, column labels, and per-cell intensity marks are stored on our infrastructure (Vercel + Redis) so multiplayer join and aggregation work. Sessions expire automatically after inactivity (default 3 days from last write). There is no long-term emotional profile or account history.
- Language preference (`en` / `pl`) is stored in a first-party cookie (`partnerizer_lang`) so the interface can open in your chosen language.
- Make LLM Ready preference is stored in a first-party cookie (`partnerizer_llm_ready`) so the check-in “Make LLM Ready” checkbox can restore your last choice. It only stores on/off — not check-in text — and does not send content to any LLM by itself.
- Coach Mode preference is stored in a first-party cookie (`partnerizer_coach_mode`) so the Coach Mode switch can restore on/off across visits. It only stores a boolean — not free text or coaching content.
- Analytics(optional, only with your consent): page/performance telemetry via Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights, plus minimal first-party usage counters (UI element name and display/click counts). Counters may be stored in your browser's localStorage and flushed in batches to our server (aggregated in Redis) for product improvement — never check-in free text.
- Hosting logs: our host (Vercel) processes technical request data (e.g. IP address, user agent, URL) as part of providing the website securely.
3. Legal bases (GDPR Art. 6)
- Language cookie (`partnerizer_lang`) — necessary to provide the bilingual service as requested (Art. 6(1)(b) / strictly necessary for the service you ask for).
- Make LLM Ready cookie ( `partnerizer_llm_ready`) — necessary to remember a UI preference for clipboard formatting on check-in (Art. 6(1)(b) / strictly necessary for that feature of the service). No free-text content is stored in this cookie.
- Coach Mode cookie (`partnerizer_coach_mode`) — necessary to remember whether guided Coach Mode is on or off (Art. 6(1)(b) / strictly necessary for that UI preference of the service). Stores only on/off.
- Analytics & usage telemetry — only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can refuse or withdraw at any time via Cookie preferences.
- Hosting / security logs — legitimate interests in operating a secure, reliable website (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Check-in content in your browser — processed locally on your device at your initiative; we do not store it on our servers in the current MVP.
- Team heat-map live sessions — necessary to provide the multiplayer workshop feature you request (Art. 6(1)(b)); data is ephemeral (TTL).
Free-text reflections may include sensitive personal content. We design the product so that check-in free text remains on your device. Do not paste highly confidential third-party data if you later use features that send text to a server.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Details are in our Cookie Policy. Non-essential analytics run only after you opt in.
5. Recipients and processors
We use Vercel Inc. to host the application, serve the site, run serverless functions, and (if you consent) provide Analytics and Speed Insights. Vercel acts as a processor under its terms and Data Processing Addendum.
Live heat-map session state is stored in Upstash Redis (or equivalent Redis provider configured for the deployment), acting as a processor for short-lived session blobs. Prefer an EU-region database where available.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use advertising networks or marketing pixels in the current product.
6. International transfers
Application compute is configured for the European Union(Vercel region Frankfurt / `fra1`). Depending on Vercel's infrastructure and subprocessors, some operational or analytics data may still be processed outside the EEA. Where transfers occur, they rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses, as described in Vercel's documentation and DPA.
7. Retention
- Language preference cookie (`partnerizer_lang`): up to 1 year (or until you clear cookies).
- Make LLM Ready preference cookie (`partnerizer_llm_ready`): up to 1 year (or until you clear cookies).
- Coach Mode preference cookie (`partnerizer_coach_mode`): up to 1 year (or until you clear cookies).
- Consent cookie: up to 1 year (or until you change preferences).
- Check-in content: only for the browser session / visit (not saved to our servers).
- Heat-map live session blobs: until TTL expiry after last activity (default 3 days), then auto-deleted.
- First-party usage aggregates (if consented): UI element display/click counts in Redis (production); retained until we rotate or clear them for product hygiene. Not personal profiles.
- Local usage counters (if consented): until you clear site data or use the reset control on the internal usage page.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, or port personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing). You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Poland: UODO — uodo.gov.pl).
Because we do not keep check-in journals on our servers, most content is under your control in the browser (close the tab / start over / clear site data). For questions about logs or analytics, email help@adaptacja.works. We will respond within one month where required.
9. Automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.
10. Children
Partnerizer is aimed at adults in professional and organizational contexts. It is not directed at children under 16.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when the product or processors change. Material changes to analytics consent may reset the consent banner (new consent version). The “Last updated” date at the top will change accordingly.
This page describes our current practices in plain language. It is not legal advice.
